Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Carrboro, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ2:30 pm. It is closed on Tuesday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (984) 234-3230. Finally got around to having a meal here. It was delicious. Loved the indoor βpatioβ vibe. They sat us in the main front room that is airy and has all the faux flowers up on the ceiling window rafters. They get super busy and we got there just before so we didnβt have to wait for a table. Our meals were delicious and even though I ordered from the lunch menu I still had leftovers to take home. Staff was attentive.

Over 20 visits. This is an updated review: I have loved this restaurant in the past, however it is starting to go downhill. The food has always been wonderful except recently. I truly hope the flavor profile returns. It seems there is a new cook. The food is nothing like it used to be. It is bland, the meat is chewy and tough. All of our meals have been this way the last three times at this establishment. While this time they did take the meal off the bill,l this time. That was the very least they could have done. My meal came out 15 minutes before the rest of my family ever received anything. Which is also unacceptable. The waiter offered to take it back to the kitchen and put it under the heat lamp until the rest of the table was ready. What kind of an offer is that? I would want even more dried out, dead, heat lamp food? Every piece of chicken I put in my mouth I had to spit out because it was so chewy and tough. I truly hope they fix whoever is working in the kitchen because the food couldβve been purchased from a cheap Chinese place with the quality of the meat and the flavorless dishes. Iβve always been so proud of this restaurant and spoke so highly of it. Three strikes

One of my absolute favorite spots in town! I enjoy the food so much that Iβve brought at least four different groups of friends here. Every single time itβs been a hit. I always get the tom kha soup. Itβs creamy, sweet, and packed with coconut flavor. Iβm also a big fan of the duck rice and the softshell crab. I love spicy food, so I always ask for their spice tray. Highly recommend!

Had a really enjoyable experience at Thai Station. The restaurant is set in an old station and caboose, which makes it such a cute, eclectic, and fun place to dine. The atmosphere was fantastic and the service was very good throughout the visit. The food was mostly good overall. I had a soup that was especially tasty and full of flavor. My drunken noodles were decent, though personally I would have liked a bit more flavor and spice. Thankfully, I was able to add extra spices to adjust it to my taste. Overall, I would definitely recommend it for the unique setting, great vibe, and enjoyable dining experience.

Phenomenal Thai flavors just outside of Chapel Hill! My husband and I came based on a TikTok recommendation, and did not leave disappointed. We started off with Thai Iced Teas, Spring Rolls, and Fresh Rolls. Perfect starters with great flavor. For our main entrees we went with their Masaman Curry and Green Curry. Extremely pleased with portion size and authentic Thai curry flavor. Mouthwatering. Service was amazing with very attentive staff. We loved the decor and unique train car interior. We canβt wait to come again!
